AI in public procurement
Buying articial intelligens? EU regulations got you covered! Exploring the fascinating world of artificial intelligence (AI) in public sectors brings a mix of excitement and concern. As we stand on the brink of a new era where computers can make decisions independently, the stakes are high. The thrill of new technology is mixed with serious concerns about its impact on democracy and legal rules. What is often overlooked in this crucial dialogue, is that public procurement law emerges as the unsung hero. It ensures that when governments invest in AI, they’re not just buying technology—they’re securing tools that meet all legal and functional standards. Together, let’s delve into how European public procurement law is perfectly ready to guide these important purchases, guaranteeing that the AI systems are not only advanced but also aligned with our core societal values.
