Mario is a public procurement specialist in the Sorainen Estonian office. He has held a number of positions in the public sector and as a supervisory board member of state-owned enterprises. He has a hand in drafting the Estonian Competition Act as well as the Public Procurement Act, not to mention numerous other pieces of legislation. Mario has also represented Estonia in a number of EU working groups and committees and given lectures and advice as a TAIEX expert on EU e-commerce law in three different continents.
Carri is the head of the firm’s Dispute Resolution & Risk Management practice. He has litigated hundreds of matters in the interests of clients.
Carri is an expert on EU law, which includes him being appointed avocat conseil (legal adviser) to the French Embassy in Estonia. He has also defended Estonian government ministries and the City of Tallinn on State issues.
In recent times Carri has also participated in such events as the Nordic Public Procurement Forum, the conference “Public procurement in times of crisis: national experiences” in Tartu, and others.
Katrine has over 10 years of experience in public law disputes, especially in the areas of public procurement, data protection, and regulated industries. Her expertise covers the entire spectrum of state regulatory procedures, ranging from the World Trade Organization and European Union regulations to even the technical regulations of the Latvian Cabinet of Ministers. Katrīne is also a part of the Sorainen Defence sector group and solves legal matters related to state-to-state transactions, strategic goods, and weapons regulations, public procurements of defence equipment and others.
