He has a background as a leader and project manager at COWI and NIRAS, so his expertise is based on extensive experience and education, including: Master in Organizational Psychology (MPO), Academy Engineer (B), Civil Engineer specializing in organizational and technology development, Naturopath, Psychotherapist (EAPT approved), Certified Professional Facilitator (CPF at IAF), and INSEAD Strategic Change.
From 1990, Michael worked internationally with project management, leadership, and organizational development tasks, after which his Danish consulting and managerial career began in 2000. Michael’s solid foundation of experience and skills has led him, among other things, to be one of two process consultants behind one of the exemplary cases of the Leadership Commission.
Since 2002, Michael has taught at Nohrcon’s project management training and is also a consistent instructor in Nohrcon’s facilitation certification. He was certified by IAF in 2006, one of the first in Denmark, has since maintained his status as a Certified Professional Facilitator (CPF), and has conducted several workshops at international IAF conferences. He is a co-author of the basic book for the education “Velfungerende Grupper & Team – håndbog i facilitering” (Effective Groups & Teams – handbook in facilitation). Michael has 12 years of experience in international facilitation consulting and more than 25 years in total. He is a co-author of three facilitation-related books published by Hans Reitzel/Gyldendal.
