About the course
Do you want to better understand your personal leadership style and your personal strengths, and how you can use this in your role as a project manager in an international and/or Nordic context? Join our project leadership personal development course!

As a project manager, you need to be able to communicate with various parties, resolve problems, make decisions, and handle changes. Your role is to inspire and motivate yourself, your peers and team to do their best, and you must ensure that the project is finished on time and within budget. This starts with self leadership i.e. knowing yourself and getting the tools and skills necessary for your personal development.

During this course you sharpen your leadership skills and take important steps to realize your potential. You will get tools and techniques to utilize your personal strengths, and support and develop those around you. Learn to drive your team to achieve project goals on schedule and within budget.

You’ll also become familiar with the nuances between the Nordic an international work environments, understanding similiaries and differences in values and communication styles.

By the end of the course, you will be a more effective leader, able to communicate better, support empowerment and create commitment around you. In addition, you’ll learn how to build trust and complete tasks more effectively.

Learning method
During the training, we blend theory with practical learning. In addition to traditional teaching, there will be case studies and practical exercises. You’ll be actively involved, so you can train your acquired skills right away. Hence, you should be prepared to participate actively and engage in reflections and skills training in smaller groups. Years of experience tells us, that this provides you with the very best learning experience.

Who is the course for?
This program is a personal development course for (a) Nordic project managers working for success on international projects and (b) for expatriate project managers working for success in Nordic countries. . Whether you’re a project manager on one or on several projects, a contract manager, client consultant, architect, engineer, or a specialist with designated project management tasks, this program will boost your internatonal project leaderships skills. In addition you have the opportunity to largen your professional network.

Part of the international project leadership education
This course on project management is the first module in the project leadership program. After the training, you will have a solid understanding of what it means to be a project manager. You can navigate and communicate effectively in a multicultural work environment. You will also network with other project leaders and exchange experiences and challenges.

Max. 24 participants per session!
We believe that learning is enhanced when there is a proper mix of presentations, trainings, dialogue and closeinteraction between instructors and participants. That’s why we limit each group to a maximum of 24 participants. This ensures instructors have time to provide you with individual attention, and you have more opportunities to ask questions, share experiences, and engage in dialogues. Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis.
