The public procurement monitoring reports submitted by EU and EEA countries to the European Commission under Directive 2014/23/EU, Directive 2014/24/EU and Directive 2014/25/EU are now available online.
The reports provide insights into the practical implementation of strategic public procurement, highlighting challenges and best practices, and the level of competition in public procurement.
The reports also provide information on the most frequent sources of wrong application or of legal uncertainty, including possible structural or recurring problems in the application of the rules, the level of SMEs’ participation in public procurement, as well as on procurement fraud, corruption, conflict of interest and other serious irregularities.
